Just one question,
That needs to be asked,
Even if it does not yield an answer.

Will you always love me,
The way I will always love you?

Funny how the love for you brought me to places.
Funny how I am using the word 'love', of which someone said I can't speak of, since we have never met.

Heading to Beijing tomorrow, Ronnie.

Hope life is as good as you wish it can be, if not better.

Synopsis for Paulo Coelho's
Veronika Decides to Die.

Veronika seems to have everything she could wish for. She is young and pretty, has plenty of attractive boyfriends, goes dancing, has a steady job, a loving family. Yet Veronika is not happy; something is lacking in her life. On the morning of November 11th 1997, she decides to die. She takes an overdose of sleeping pills, only to wake up some time later in Villete, the local hospital. There she is told that although she is alive now her heart is damaged and she has only a few days to live.

This story follows Veronika through these intense days as, to her surprise, she finds herself drawn into the enclosed world of Villete. She begins to notice more, to become interested in the other patients. She starts to see her past relationships much more clearly and understand why she had felt her life had no meaning. In this heightened state, Veronika discovers things she has never really allowed herself to feel before: hatred, fear, curiosity, love... Against all odds, she finds she is falling in love and wanting, if at all possible, to live again...

There is a girl every single soppy sad song reminds me of.

A familiar name was mentioned by a person who used to be close to her, a person who used to be close to me too. Sometimes, that part of the past slip my mind - the people who are related to her. I used to feel that I knew about her, and her life... but in reality, I don't. I have never met more than one of her friends... and never met her.

There are times I don't want to remember, because I don't want to believe it is real. But there are times I hope the past was not just a fantasy, spunned partly by my own imagination, with the fragile threads provided by the unknown. Threads that replaced my threads of sanity.

It might be a romantic notion, that makes me wonder if whatever happened in my life, could be one of the greatest love stories ever told. Perhaps not. It is not very often that an unreal story in which the lead characters never met each other become the most moving tale. Unless one is Walt Disney, or Dreamworks, or something along that line. Oh yes, or Richard Curtis.

Those who read this blog probably wonders how one can harp on one same topic, one same cycle of events, one very narrow path, for so very long. I wonder too.

When all end, it may end too. And it will be an end with regrets.

If our paths crossed as part of our destiny,
Was parting a paragraph of the written plans?

[ PIECES OF JADE ]

>> Ramblings.

McKean met Leafy on mIRC in late June of 2001.

Leafy left for UK around August/September 2001.

Leafy left.

Leafy last sent an email to McKean in June 2002.

McKean finally left home for UK in June 2003.

But McKean has lost Leafy forever.

Leafy was the Ice-Queen, the RainbowFlag, the Fei, the love of McKean's life.

She still is.

Leafy doesn't see what she left behind.

McKean does.
